Guillaume Catella

Founder & CEO of Creatella; Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of Creatella Impact

Guillaume is a born technopreneur who has been CEO and CTO of multiple startups in Fintech, EdTech, e-commerce, gaming and music.

Across 15 years of experience in tech, Guillaume founded a music platform, launched an ambitious mobile J-RPG game in Korea, co-founded an ecommerce in Singapore and founded Creatella Venture Builder that helped launching 40 innovative tech startups in SEA and Europe, raising over 40M usd across their portfolio. Guillaume is an Entrepreneur in Residence at INSEAD and a mentor and judge for diverse entrepreneurship programs.

Guillaume obtained his engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France, followed by a Master in Nuclear Engineering and Quantum Physics from the University of Tohoku in Japan. He went on to obtain his MBA at INSEAD in Singapore with an exchange to Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Karen Vardanyan

Karen Vardanyan is a development finance executive with more than two decades of experience in managing large and complex portfolios of development resources allocated and delivered in developing countries worldwide. In his UNDP career, Karen has managed more than a billion US dollars of donor financial resources in trust funds and development projects in all continents to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring efficient, compliant and transparent management of resources.

Karen is Co-founder of Crimson Investment Fund and its Board Member responsible for Risk Management. As an angel investor and a member of various investor networks, Karen invests in early stage start-ups with scalable business models and promising growth potential.

Karen’s vision is to leverage the power of entrepreneurship, markets and social enterprises, innovative blended financial instruments for resolving social and environmental challenges and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Karen is an Alumni of Harvard Business School, holds a Diploma in Financial Management from the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He has Specialization in Business and Financial Modelling from the Wharton School, PhD and Masters of Engineering from State Engineering University of Armenia.

Neil Wolfson

General Partner

Neil was President and CIO of SF Capital Group, a billion dollar multi-generational family office, for 10 years, with a focus on FinTech. Prior to joining SF Capital Group, Neil spent five years as CIO and President of Wilmington Trust Investment Management, a $40 billion investment management firm. Prior to this, Neil served for 8 years as a Partner at KPMG LLP and National Partner in Charge of KPMG’s Investment Consulting Practice. Neil also spent over a decade at Kidder, Peabody & Co. where he ran the managed money area, co-founded the Analytical Investment Strategies Group, was a senior portfolio manager for Kidder Peabody Asset Management and the Kidder Peabody Asset Allocation Fund and ran the firm’s PRIME Asset Consulting Group.

Neil serves on the Board of Directors for OnDeck (ONDK). Neil holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Management from New York University, and became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in 1993. Neil teaches the Modern Portfolio Theory class at Rutgers Graduate Business School..

Neil frequently provides market commentary to the media (CNBC, Bloomberg Television, CNN and FoxNews, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Business Week, Forbes, Washington Post, Chicago Sun Times and USA Today). In 2007, Institutional Investor selected Neil as one of the 20 Rising Stars of Wealth Management.

Khaldoun Shehadeh

Expert deal originator/maker with proven deal structuring skills. Specialist in creative business & revenue modelling and setting the building blocks for validation, learning and growth. Enjoys synthesising cross functional expertise to solve complex issues creatively & pragmatically thus enabling the success of individuals, teams, projects and companies.

From roles as a Finance Manager at Maersk (global shipping & logistics leader) and division CFO at UBA (pan-Africa banking group), he moved into Private Equity & Venture Capital to co-lead the building of a top tier family investment office from the ground up with a focus on financial services, real estate, hospitality, power, oil & gas and agriculture. This was followed by varied direct start-up experience with 6 years as a start-up/growth CFO and years of financial and strategy consulting with start-up clients in three continents. Khaldoun also managed a Dutch early stage VC fund, mentoring start-ups and founders (fintech, e-health, SAAS, blockchain, ecommerce etc) and restructuring the allied Netherlands based venture builder. Also, held a position with a Dutch semi-governmental agency focused on building start-up programs and support ecosystem.

Khaldoun holds a Bsc in Business Administration & Economics, an MSc in Accounting and Control and is a chartered Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA). Further specialization in depth trainings in Lean, Business Model Innovation and Digital Marketing.
